The BA (Hons) & FdA in Film & TV Production are practical and hands-on courses for those wishing to pursue a career in the film & television industry.

The course covers all aspects of production with a particular emphasis on single camera drama, commercials & music promos.

Using film industry standard HD cameras, with a wide range of prime lenses and dedicated grip equipment, students gain practical experience of all recognised departments / roles within the wider industry.

Students are encouraged to develop their own short film projects and to undertake work experience on a range of TV & feature film productions, working alongside practising professionals whose credits include a wide range of leading BBC, ITV & Channel 4 dramas, as well as feature film productions.

Manchester Film School's vision is straightforward: To produce students who become film & TV professionals and gain regular employment within the industry.

Many of our Alumni work within the film & TV industry, having been employed on productions such as James Bond, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Dads Army.
